Does anyone watch? I fell asleep on last night's show and I'm just wondering if the couple in the first episode ever got their act together especially since they flunked the first challenge so fantastically. For some reason, I can't get online episodes to play on my computer.

She wasn't too happy about being inconvenienced and not getting the full amount.
I'll bet she'll end up buying that Mercedes she had her eye on.Originally posted by frugalgirl View PostYep. They got $2000 and boy was the wife ticked off! They couldn't believe they didn't get the whole amount. They never really completed any of the challenges. I was surprised she gave them any money.

Now I know the episode you're talking about. I think it was from about 5 years ago. So many people online are still talking about that dumb biotch (that's how I remember it - and I know for sure it's the same episode you just saw).

I just discovered this show and will make sure to tune in more. The only ep I've seen was with Muhammad, 31, and Leona, 30, who are an engineer and publicist, respectively. They bought a $386,000 house (3,200 square feet) with just $20,000 down. They promptly took out a home improvement loan for $25,000 and took off on a honeymoon for Thailand for a month, which cost them $8,500. They bought three Persian rugs for $12,000, as well as silk curtains and chandeliers. I was truly offended. They were spending $4,000 more a month than they had coming in. I couldn't believe the host gave them an entertainment budget! In such dire financial straits I'd tell them to sit their butts at home and stare at those Persian carpets for their fun.
Any other good financial shows out there? I'm going to watch this and the new show Princess, as well as my fave, Suze Orman.
