I just logged on to check my e-mail and had 145 messages. I only had about 30 when I logged off last night. What happened? I open my in box and it turns out there is a whole slew of "new post" blog messages from this site. Where did they all come from? I haven't gotten a blog notice for weeks, probably months. Now they all showed up at one time.

I think Nate is working on fixing the blog notification system, and the messages your received were a back log. You'll probably be getting more today -- I know I have.
I'm just hoping that the annoyance of having to delete a bajillion messages will lead to the notification system working again!
