    IF I had a 1 million...

    I would marry my gf.
    15k for wedding and honeymoon
    5k for a ring

Pay off all our college debts
    40k combined.

    Cars
    10k to pay off hers
20k to buy me a brand new one.

Buy a nice house in good ole Ohio
    200K

and seeing that we are both only 21 I would invest the rest.

Well, the taxes would be killer, but there is still plenty of money to achieve all my personal finance objectives.

However, I also would not do anything differently from what I am already doing now. That includes going to work the next day.

My life would not change either, I pretty much have what I want! I could loan broken arrow the money to pay off his student loans at 0% interest!

Re: If you suddenly became a millionaire....

Ha ha. Um... I don't even know how to respond to something like this.

I assume all this is just a joke.

Even if this is serious, then I can not accept in that I do not believe it would be a good investment decision, you know? You would lose quite a bit in lost interest giving it to someone whom you've never met and don't know their porn habits *cough* er I mean credit history, and so, that would equate to what I would see as a bad financial decision. No offense intended, Ima. It's just that, were I in your shoes, I would not do such a thing, and if I can not do such a thing, I do not expect anyone else to do the same for me. Otherwise, I'd be a hypocrite, and I'd rather be a poor, honest man than a rich, hypocritical one....

However, it must be fun being an eccentric millionaire. I hope to grow up be one as well.

Either way, thank you Ima. To even offer that, to me, is very sweet and I am deeply grateful....

Re: If you suddenly became a millionaire....

I would pretty much do what everyone else is saying. Pay off mortgage, invest, etc. I would have to either build a swimming pool or buy a new home with one.

Re: If you suddenly became a millionaire....

ok, ok. i would not get a new trailer every year until the money was gone. it was just a joke. i thought about saying i would buy a new condo every year, but they are too expensive.
i know i would buy a corvette...something i have wanted all my life. a house is in there, i have no debt, so it is all good, mutual funds and CD's, new car for the fiance and marrage of course(gimme). collage funds for the little ones in the family.

Oh broken arrow, what fun is money if you can't help someone. I don't know how much you owe, but what is $50,000 when you just came into a million? I would get a new corvette too, rusty!! I have a red one and a turquoise one, maybe yellow this time!!

Re: If you suddenly became a millionaire....

Well, $50k would most certainly pay off my debts, and put me in the black....

I don't know if you're still inebriated from your liquor run, but it certainly is very tempting.

I don't drink when I make my liquor runs, I only have drinks with dinner. Sober as a Judge!!

                          Thank God
                          First the taxes would be taken out;
                          We would become debt free
Would help many family and friends who need help
                          would build our dream home
Do some more with VRG --who will show us how to grow more $
