When we relocated from PA to NJ a year ago, I had to quit my job. I was an accountant at a bank and wore MANY hats over the years. Now that my daughter(6) will be heading to school FT in the fall, I've been thinking about heading back to work at least in a PT capacity. Then I was doing some reading about getting my CMA certification. I have no interest in pursuing a CPA license, but thought this certification would be more up my alley.
Anyway, can someone tell me their experiences with certification process? How about study materials/guides/classes? What's the best way to prep for the tests? If you used study guides/classes, which one did you use and why?
