I got 7.5%, and while I know that is good, please keep in mind that I had gotten a promotion, then they realized there may not be enough work to keep me busy full time, in addition to the fact that they were having trouble finding a replacement for my old position. So, I do both. The only reason I got that much is because of that, and in all honesty, I am still being shorted if you really think about it. I am well paid and don't have the right to complain... but I will anyway. lol.

I had worked at my internship about 15 months w/o a raise. So I asked my boss if I had added value since I got there. He said yes. So I asked for a raise (I sucker punched him, I know). 15.6%! My wife and I were elated. Definitely will help toward our house downpayment once I graduate.

DH got about a 3% raise, IIRC. Raises aren't a given where he works, so we were happy.

I'm giving myself a raise of sorts and raising my tutoring rates this fall.

Aren't you glad you asked?

That was more what I was leaning towards! But I knew better.. I had a large raise when I originally got promoted and they told me I skipped many salary grades for being there for a short time.

10% - but I got promoted and skipped a couple of pay grades.

A few months before the promotion I paid off my credit card. I had been hammering on it for over a year, so that when I paid it off I got a $500/month pay raise.

0% that is actually DHs raise, any percent of zero (my salary) is still zero. But DH gets loot, just happens to be the same loot as last year.

No new contract yet, so no raise. It usually ends up being retroactive, around 3%. I work for a local government entity.

20.2% here. Was shocked to get it. Got the usual 3% last year. Just trying to figure out where to put all our new cash, savings wise. College, 401K and IRA.

...what's a raise?...oh, I remeber, I used to get those at the last company I worked for...here, they are almost unheard of...you get a raise only if you get a promotion...and, admin assistants will ALWAYS be admin assistants...we don't get promotions...

3.5% This year, which is the lowest raise I have gotten in the six years I have worked with my employer.

We received 2.25% - just enough to cover rising insurance costs and an increase in the employee retirement contributions. This typical.

5%, and now 4 % is going to the 401k. I honestly didn't notice it.
