      I got 25% raise . About 6 months ago I got a 20% raise.

I guess it pays to move from Vancouver to California for new job opportunities. Still catching up with increased cost of living.

Don't we all still feel underpaid?

Re: What % raise did you get this year?

I just started in April, so no raise yet.

DH should be hearing about a raise soon. It'd better be fairly large since he was promised a $1k raise after 6 months we never saw. That was the whole reason we took the job even though it was really less than we needed for relocation.

We no longer need the raise now (since I work) but he is worth more than they pay him. We did see a decrease in insurance cost (I guess some people retired and the group is now lower risk?).

Don't know what my percent came out to--but it was all of 6 cents an hour. I work for one of the 2 largest Telecommunications companies (also have cell phones) in the world. so next time you use the phone, don't assume it is going to the employees--it sure as heck is not!

              oh, thank you for asking!

I just got a raise and I am thrilled. You see, I manage a small non-profit homeless shelter and we run off of donations from folks just like you!... We arn't one of those agencies that gets all this cash from the feds, city and state, we just try and make it on our own. Because of that, I pretty much thought that I would get a raise when I hit the 5 or 10 year mark. (2 more to go for the 5 year mark) I assumed this beacuse the old Director didn't get a paycheck for YEARS, so I feel REAL lucky that I get a check each week...
              ANYHOW, I recieved a
20% pay increase..... I must also add that I think I got this raise not because I'm working my butt off or anything like that.... I honestly believe that I got a raise because I'm wanting to buy a home!!

1%... and not much hope of getting any more the following January.

Of course its easy to bank my raise at this rate, except that in some instances the net gain could possibly be negative.

Re: What % raise did you get this year?

I got a 3 percent raise retroactive to July 1, the start of our fiscal year.

Last year in October I got a 6 percent raise (unheard of at my company).

I'm still waiting, though, for the 2-point-something percent raise they've promised me to cover the increase in my out-of-pocket health insurance costs, since my position got transferred from the main university to a wholly owned subsidiary, and the benefits aren't as good for the subsidiary.

I can't believe what high raises people talked about! I should really leave higher education institutions and go work in the corporate world.

                    0%
It is good to see so many people getting raises, unfortunately form me no raise this year. I had one last year for about 3.5%.
