    I'm for an Consumption tax with certain comodities not taxed such as limited food, limited clothing and limited housing. Figuring out how to limit on these items would still be much less cumbersome than the tax code we have.

    There could be different tax rates for different products and services.

          That would be me. While there are always minor reforms that can be done, I agree with the progressive tax and would not change it.

          Also I used to rail against how complex the tax code is, and while I still believe some complexity should be removed, it's becoming a non-issue with improvements in technology.

          Frankly I believe we have more pressing issues to work on before we start tackling tax code issues.
