  • What is your biggest money wasting temptation?

I kinda noticed for me it is eating out. lol. Even though I use coupons almost ALL the time and there are times it is even cheaper than cooking, it's my fall. I like cooking too. I can't think of anything else right now.

In thinking about this for a couple of minutes, I can't idenitfy JUST ONE and maybe that is the problem. I have too many ways to waste my money.

Eating out would probably be mine, too. I'm really not a big spender otherwise. I don't do a whole lot of recreational shopping.

Going to the casino would be the other thing, though that's a mixed issue since I've got a pretty good track record. I've won 7 of the last 8 times I went.

Food period. Eating out costs alot but even groceries can add up when I am stocking up and when I plan a fancy meal.

            I really don't know.

            I prolly should find out.

I like to eat out, but we rarely do, I like to go places, but I doubt that is the biggest non need spending.

Eating out. But we share a meal in most cases to limit the damage.

I have a nice watch fetish. So far I've been good about controlling it, but I'm sure I'll lapse one day.

eating out, travelling, snowboarding, video games, dogs (Huge, huge money drain). Seriously our pets cost more than everything else combined.

Especially when you consider one is getting a lot older. yeow! And I mean stuff like flea and tick medicine, boarding, vet bills, food, treats, damage to our house, etc.

We replaced our carpet in our first condo because our dog kept throwing up on it. It was too hard to clean so hardwood. Now we have hardwood and he likes to vomit on the rug. And he's 13 so I put down a pottie napkin just in case, but he likes to go on the rug if he can't go outside. And he's housebroken it's just age. And no i'm not putting him down. He's an awesome dog otherwise.

But seriously I calculated with everything I think i spend around $300/month for my dogs. Yeah around $3-4k/year.

                      Purses.

                      Definitely purses.

I like to collect purses (designer and non-designer) and the cost can add up quickly! I don't spend a lot on clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. because I buy them from thrift stores or Ross.

My boyfriend loves to eat out allll the time and we have compromised on going out no more than twice a month. Our favorite place to go to is all-you-can-eat sushi.

I could say the same about my daughter but I think we'll keep her.

                          Eating out.

Something tells me if this was a poll, eating out may win out.

                            Lip Gloss!

Silly I know and it is embarrassing for me to admit. I like having different colors, fruit flavors and etc.

Eating out is definately my biggest temptation. Two years ago I was spending close to $1,500/m in sit down dinning and fast food. It was hard to break that habbit, but now my wife and I stick to a budget of $200/m fast food and $300/m dining out. We are working on cutting that even more!!!
