I believe it is like PayPal, nix the fees for receiving money. Just wondering if anyone here uses it.

Not familiar with it, though I'm willing to be that if it catches on, it won't stay free. Paypal was free when it started. Once it got popular, in came the fees.Steve
* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

Bluezy and PrincessPerky's husband, did you read all the fine print? I have to wonder if in the fine print some kind of future fees were laid out."There is some ontological doubt as to whether it may even be possible in principle to nail down these things in the universe we're given to study." --text msg from my kid
"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." --Frederick Douglass

I am fairly certain my husband read the fine print. the free money they are giving he explained to me, is so they can get a bunch of vendors to be willing to accept them....
Pay pal did that when they first started so they would be able to say they have a large base of folk with money in the accounts ready to buy stuff.
I believe no future fees were mentioned (remember I didn't read it) but I am certain there will be fees to transfer eventually just like pay pal. so the sooner you get your free money the better IMO.

Just to clarify, with PayPal, there are no fees to send and receive money between PayPal (Personal) accounts.
PayPal fees come in with other account types (Premier/Business) for online auctions and other selling where the recipient accepts other forms of payment, including directly from credit cards.

As for Revolution MoneyExchange, it is worth noting that the accounts are, "...issued by First Bank & Trust, Brookings, SD, Member FDIC..." I personally wouldn't link my primary checking to this (or to PayPal) but otherwise, it would seem Revolution's service is nothing to be particularly wary of.

When all is said and done, I'm simply not interested in opening new accounts like this just to get some small bonus payment. It's just not worth the hassle.
However, to look at it another way, if someone is interested in the service, then you might as well as register while they have the special offer.
