411 Free to find Business Numbers

I'm not sure about in the States but in Canada you can use Google 411 for free when looking for a business. Not sure if there is also a free service in the States or not? Maybe someone can help.
The number in Canada is 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411).
I figure anything that's free these days is a bonus.

Here in the States, use 1-800-FREE-411 or 1-888-FREE-411. You listen to a brief ad (for ring tones, or tanning salon, etc.) first. The advertisers pay for it so there is no charge to you. If you call from a cell phone, you still pay for airtime (minutes).

Apparently it's free to call from your cell phone also, in Canada anyway.
