I got a fax at the office the other day that said I had never selected the honorarium gift for a study I did. I called them today and the guy said I did a study in 1999 and I was owed a gift for that program. He then listed a variety of items from which I could select. I chose a Verilux desk lamp. I just checked their website and they retail for about $80, so in a week or so, I should have a brand new full-spectrum desk lamp.

I contracted for a couple months at Microsoft as a gratuity clerk giving out MS software to participants in studies. Most of the studies are here in the Seattle/Redmond area but they also do studies out in the field. I recommend to anyone <<who does not care how much info MS has on you>> to go to MS usability studies and fill out a profile.
While I worked there, my personal best was giving out $27,000 worth of software in one day.I YQ YQ R
