  • Where do you order checks from?

Hi, I need to order a few boxes of checks and I wanted to know where is a good and cheap place to order? So far the lowest that I have found is Bradford Exchange Checks - Order Personal Checks, Buy Bank Checks at a Discount Online , they have 2 boxes of singles for $7.98.

I used the Bradford Exchange about 2 years ago and they screwed up my order and had misspellings of several words. Needless to say I was not pleased. When I called them to correct the order they were rude and told me that the misspellings should be fine, that my bank should accept the checks. Well, that could be true, but it bothers me and if I pay you to do something for me I expect it to be correct!!!!

I now use Walmart Check printing and I'm very pleased!

any way I have ordered checks from them forever about 15 years! anyhoo my credit union merged with another credit union ,I called to order checks and they said they could no longer offer me checks, what? they said the bank was not in their system yet ,I asked if i could put them in contact with the bank to add them ,no they could not
most insanely stupid thing I had ever heard, so I ordered checks from my bank , after I did so I heard good things about walmart checks

              Great tip to buy

              at Walmart but where?

At the bank at the front of the store?

do you have to have an account with them?

              Thanks for any feedback.

I think I used Current last time, but it has been a while. I only write 5-6 checks/month so an order of 400 lasts about 5 years.

                    SuperValue Checks

Their pricing made me wary, however, my parents ordered from them and the checks are very nice. Order was handled well too.

I only write maybe 1 per month and I am still on the 250 free ones I got when I opened my account 4 years ago. By the time I finish this box checks will be obsolete.

Petmom- I would never order them from the bank at the front of my walmart it is a Sterling Silver I had opened my kids some accounts with them and they dinged my kids with weird fees every moth, you try to teach children the value of saving money and the bank dings them 3 dollar fees every month ,I got tired of dealing with them, no one is in charge or can do anything

Checks In The Mail - Personal Checks, Business Checks, Address Labels, Photo Products.

I refuse to get the plain checks (they're ugly, I need something personal on there). I write about 5-6 checks a month. I'd rather write a check than use a debit card.

I work for a bank. The prices the bank charges on a box of checks is insane. They make a lot of money on checks.

I still have checks from my original order 5 years ago. I guess eventually I'll need new ones, but do most people use checks that much these days? It seems like a dying form of payment.

You have to watch both of them, they have both BURNED me!

I move alot (and only order one box of check at a time and I only order checks when I am out not because I moved-I just write the new address info on), and I have lots of accounts, Joint checking and single for both my husband and I. I try to not to use the same company twice. The last time I ordered it was from one of the above companies, they filled my order, and it cost my $65 instead of $12 because they said I was not a first time customer. They mailed the checks then a month later mailed the bill. Had I known they were going to cost me $65 more I would have canceled my order. But HOW do you prove you have not ordered from them before.

Then the time prior (same account) I ordered my checks from the other company and the checks took forever - 12 weeks. I had to keep calling and they would say they mailed them out. The sad thing is that check boxes never get truely postmarked so you cant call the company back and ask why it took them 11 weeks to process your order.

We just upgraded one of our checking account and now get free checking, on that account. Now I just need to make the checks on the other two accounts last! I am going to have to look into the Walmart checks.
