in the end it looks like they paint the crusaders as the bad guys.. so down the road we will definetly be the bad guys, thats guaranteed.
Who's speculating? Please become better informed before posting Dingoluv4eva. It may even surprise you to know that at this very minute we are occupying Iraq and not the reverse.

Who the heck knows the whole truth with the state of our inteligence operations in this country and what is actually reported to the public.
            The IAEA does.

Except then we were attacked by Japan and declared war on by Germany.

According to General Abizaid, the “foreign” fighters comprise 5% of the insurgents or less, which means that 95% are home-grown Iraqis who are resisting an illegal invasion and occupation.

                The IAEA does.

As per the Khan debacle, The IAEA doesn't even know what's going on in countries which comprise their own board of Governors.

I remember Abizaid saying there were about 5000 foreign insurgants a few years ago. Do you have a link for that 5% quote. Most recently he's stated that the percentage of foreign fighters has been increasing.

Ah, your “article” (if one can stretch to call it that) consists of mere conjecture. One would think that the following phrases would have clued YOU in:

                    * “He allegedly offered to facilitate the procurement of the equipment…”

                    * “This offer is believed to have been made…”

                    * “these documents indicate that Dr Khan may also have…”

They obviously know more than the Bushies. The IAEA was correct, the Bushies were wrong.

                      Nope.

It was as recent as June of this year.

Thanks for the link. 5% would seem to be the floor from Abizaid's quotes, although that would be a huge reduction from the 5000 number you said was as recent as June.

I see that you have a problem with reading comprehension.

                          From your linked article:

                          * “The top U.S. military commander in the Middle East said Thursday that coalition forces are facing up to 5,000 fighters in Iraq

That’s 5,000 TOTAL fighters, not 5,000 foreign fighters as you claimed in post #23 that the general stated.

                          Thanks for the link.
I can always substantiate my statements.

I don’t see how you get that from his statement:

There's probably about a thousand foreign fighters operating inside of Iraq

No, as I never claimed there was 5,000. That was YOU in post #23. I merely referenced that Abizaid’s STATEMENT concerning the number of foreign fighters in Iraq was as recent as June of this year.

So that we’re clear, in 2003, General Abizaid’s estimate of the total number of Iraqi resistance was at 5,000. A year and a half later, General Abizaid’s estimate of the total number of Iraqi resistance was at 20,000, with 95% being home-grown Iraqis resisting an an illegal invasion and an ongoing illegal occupation. Thereby leaving the remaining 5% of the resistance consisting of foreign fighters.

...often wrong, but never in doubt should be your tag line.

There's probably about a thousand foreign fighters operating inside of Iraq

Abizaid's quote,"At the high end, that could be as much as 20,000. I think it's less than that. There's probably about a thousand foreign fighters operating inside of Iraq and there's probably about 60 to 100 coming across the borders primarily from Syria."

From his quote the floor would be 5%, not including the fighters crossing the borders from Syria.

You’ve been unable to substantiate any of your assertions that I’ve been “wrong”.

                              I’m afraid you’re CONFUSED.

When Abizaid states “I think it's less than that”, he is referring to the TOTAL number of fighters. Therefore, the percentage of foreign fighters, represented by Abizaid as “about a thousand”, would be an even LARGER percentage.

                              You have it backwards.

If the total number of insurgents is exactly 20,000, and the total number of foreign fighters is exactly 1,000, then the foreign fighters represent exactly 5% of the total. If the total number of fighters is “less than that”, then the total number of foreign fighters would be an even larger percentage than 5%.

                              Grade school math.

If you would only take the time to read carefully what you've written, you'd realize your comments support my statement about a 5% floor entirely. Perhaps you don't know the difference between a floor and a ceiling.

I'm happy your proud of your Grade School Math.

As far as you being wrong, it's bad enough your opinions are so dreadful. Giving incorrect tax advice which people might believe is even worse. How long for profit?

And by the way, your "#" key is stuck. That's the only possible explanation for it appearing at the bottom of your posts.
