m-f-mo, I heard that in MO sometimes it will show someone has unclaimed money when what they really have is UNPAID state income tax, or at least the state thinks they owe!

Don't know about that. What is for my cousin is his name and his moms--she has been deceased for several years. My sister in laws both show between $20 and $30. I had some on there several years ago. It was from an uncashed rebate check from sony, and a deposit refund from the electric company where I used to live.

How did you go about claiming what you found?

There is a form you fill out and send in to the state.
