    Where did you begin 2007? Same place as last year, central NY
    What was your status by Valentine's Day? Married
    Were you in school (anytime this year)? No, but DH finished up and got his Masters.
    Did you have to go to the hospital? Unfortunately, yes - just last week Did you have any encounters with the police? No, thank goodness
    Where did you go on vacation? camping for a week and 5 days in Myrtle Beach (back to back!), overnight near NYC
    What did you purchase that was over $500? I don't think I bought anything!
    Did you know anybody who got married? Yes, DH's cousin and a friend from college
    Did you know anybody who passed away? DH's grandfather
    Did you move anywhere? No
    What sporting events did you attend? One local AAA baseball game
    What concerts/shows did you go to? season tickets to the local theater (Thoroughly Modern Millie was fantastic, Ain't Misbehavin' was not as great), the Rockette's 75th Christmas show
    Where do you live now? Central NY, still and always
    Describe your birthday: I turned 30 a few weeks ago! I had a joint party in September with my two SILs, who also turned 30, then a small family party a few weeks ago. My DH's sister also threw me and my MIL, whose bdays are a few days apart, a very nice brunch. It was a great year!
    What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2007? Ooh, that's tough. I guess have a miscarriage. You just never think it's going to happen after two healthy pregnancies.
    What has been your favorite moment(s)? Vacationing. holidays with family
    What's something you learned? Sometimes things definitely don't go the way you planned, but with the support of others, things do turn out alright in the end.
    Any new additions to your family? Not yet - but hopefully there will be several next year! I have two SILs trying to conceive
    What was your best month? July was a lot of fun with the back to back vacations.
    Made new friends? Not many, but I reconnected with a lot of old ones. Favorite Night out? My joint 30th party was a lot of fun...as were both wine tours that we went on with friends. I also had a great time at the family wedding and annual Oktoberfest bash at my SIL's house.
    Any regrets? No
    What do you want to change in 2008? I want to make an addition to my family! It would be great to retire one of our student loans too.
    Overall, how would you rate this year? Very good
    What would you change about 2007? I could have put a little more time and effort into my real estate, but I was just burnt out after a very busy summer.
    Other than home, where did you spend most of your time? Besides work, my friend's new house and my brother's new house.
    Have any life changes in 2007? Nothing major.
    Change your hairstyle? Got it cut three times - each time I went from long to medium length! Just too lazy to get it cut more often.
    Have any car accidents? Thankfully, no
    Buy a new car? Heck no, ours are paid off!
    Get a new job? I wish.
    How old did you turn this year? 30
    Do you have a New Year's resolution? I tend not to make them.
    Do anything embarrassing? Probably, but nothing specific comes to mind.
    Are you happy to see 2007 go? Yes - I'm anxious to get on with the next phase in my life - specifically, pregnancy, which has to wait another month or two for medical reasons.
    Drank Starbucks in 2007? I don't think so. We don't have many in our area.
    Been naughty or nice? Nice, of course!
    What are you wishing for in 2008? A healthy pregnancy and new addition to our family - for DH to get a full-time teaching position - and for the ability to stay home with a baby if he gets that job!

    What was your status by Valentine's Day? Single.
    Were you in school (anytime this year)? Yes, except for the summer.
    Did you have to go to the hospital? Yes, but I was not hospitalized. Visiting people.
    Did you have any encounters with the police? Yes, but nothing bad. I was in Police Explorers.
    Where did you go on vacation? I went to D.C. and Philly.
    What did you purchase that was over $500? My car, tuition.
    Did you know anybody who got married? Yes, my old French T.A.
    Did you know anybody who passed away? No.
    Did you move anywhere? Yes, a couple times.
    What sporting events did you attend? I don't think I attended any.
    What concerts/shows did you go to? Unfortunately none.
    Where do you live now? Same state that I've lived in for the past 7 years.
    Describe your birthday: I wish I could have done something. I had a theme party planned, but work and school never gave me a chance to have it.
    What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2007? Mature. It's surprising how much you can grow up in a few months.
    What has been your favorite moment(s)? Prom, start of college.
    What's something you learned? I've learned a lot.
    Any new additions to your family? New friends, boyfriend.
    What was your best month? November was a lot of fun.
    Made new friends? Yes.
    Favorite Night out? I can't remember specific nights.
    Any regrets? I don't think so.
    What do you want to change in 2008? I want to study harder and on time. I did well this semester, but now I know what changes need to be made to my study habits.
    Overall, how would you rate this year? Good.
    What would you change about 2007? I wish I could have controlled my emotions better.
    Other than home, where did you spend most of your time? Work.
    Have any life changes in 2007? Oh yes.
    Change your hairstyle? Yes. I died my hair a very dark brown, almost black. Natural color is dirty blonde.
    Have any car accidents? Thankfully, no
    Buy a new car? Not yet.
    Get a new job? Yes.
    How old did you turn this year? 18
    Do you have a New Year's resolution? Study harder, manage my time better, and relax.
    Do anything embarrassing? Oh yes.
    Are you happy to see 2007 go? Yes.
    Drank Starbucks in 2007? Nope. I don't like coffee and so I never bought anything from Starbucks.
    Been naughty or nice? Nice, of course!
    What are you wishing for in 2008? School to go well, a raise at work (performance review coming up soon), to make new friends, old friends to realize the mistakes they are making.

      Where did you go on vacation? 2 weeks in New Hampshire in August; a week in Disney World in November and a few assorted short trips.
      What did you purchase that was over $500? Tickets to Disney World.
      Did you know anybody who got married? Friends from our synagogue.
      Did you know anybody who passed away? A member of our Disney collectors' club.
      Did you move anywhere? No
      What sporting events did you attend? A couple of Camden Riversharks baseball games.
      What concerts/shows did you go to? Avenue Q on Broadway for our annivesary
      Where do you live now? Southern NJ
      Describe your birthday: I turned 43 in August. We probably went out to lunch or dinner with my mom and cousin but I honestly don't remember.
      What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2007? Got to go to Atlantic City casinos with my wife thanks to the new smoking restrictions.
      What has been your favorite moment(s)? Hiking on Cannon Mountain in Franconia, NH. Watching my daughter perform in her first real theater show.
      What's something you learned? have to think about this one.
      Any new additions to your family? Nope.
      What was your best month? August, when we did those 2 weeks in NH.
      Made new friends? Not particularly.
      Favorite Night out? Our friends' wedding in October.

      What do you want to change in 2008? Be more patient with my daughter who often drives me nuts and I tend to snap at her too quickly. Also, start selling on ebay again.

      What would you change about 2007? Should have sold more on ebay. Should have taken my daughter on more bike rides.

        Were you in school (anytime this year)? On a volunteer PTA basis
        Did you have to go to the hospital? No.
        Did you have any encounters with the police? No. Unless you count doing "the motorcycle wave" with motorcycle cops.
        Where did you go on vacation? Down and up the Pacific Coast. Highway 101! Pacific Coast Highway! All the blistering/burning-up overpriced housing communities in the West Coast!
        What did you purchase that was over $500? One 150cc scooter, one laptop, two pairs of prescription frames, home insulation, windows, gold coins.
        Did you know anybody who got married? Yes and I spent some road trip time attending the marriages.
        Did you know anybody who passed away? A friend's grandmother, a former friend.
        Did you move anywhere? No.
        What sporting events did you attend? None
        What concerts/shows did you go to? None
        Where do you live now? Seattle

        What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2007? Donate money to a Republican Presidential Candidate's campaign.
        What has been your favorite moment(s)? Having a martini with a friend from Newfoundland in the oldest restaurant in Hollywood.
        What's something you learned? The politics of food.
        Any new additions to your family? Not yet -- my brother's announced an engagement.

        Favorite Night out? Stumbling Goat Bistro with a friend I had taken in a few years earlier.

        Have any car accidents? TWO. IN THREE MONTHS. AND I WASN'T EVEN DRIVING A CAR BOTH TIMES.
        Buy a new car? No, but I might in 2008. Then I can get revenge on the non-carpooling, HOV3-invading drivers who involved me in their car accidents.

        Do anything embarrassing? Yes but it was work related.
        Are you happy to see 2007 go? No.
        Drank Starbucks in 2007? Can't help it, it's in the work kitchen and it is free.
        Been naughty or nice? Neither. I've been more generous to those turning their lives around after hitting bottom, and to agencies helping families living with cancer, but I've been disappointed in most of my social peers, and have been gravitating toward a more cerebral, social and progressive group of folk.
        What are you wishing for in 2008? The silly political season to end here, a fruitful organic garden, opportunities to serve, leap and enlist to strengthen the local community, continued friendship and fun with my new friends.
