  • Pinecone needs males!

I received this e-mail today and thought I would share, in case there were any men out there looking for surveys

    Dear Panelist,

PineCone Research is ready to expand and we need your help.

We have immediate openings for MALE CONSUMERS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

Do you know of households that meet this description that would like to join the PineCone Research Panel? If so, please FORWARD A COPY of this e-mail to each household you would like to refer so that they may click on the registration link shown below. That household should complete the registration form themselves and submit it. REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER. Multiple registrations of the same household or individual will void all registrations.

Here is the link to the registration:

Thanks. I just filled out the registration. We'll see what happens.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I am not sure what the benefits of the survey will be. Is there any remuneration for the time spent, or is it just something these guys will do for fun?

Oh, no, Pinecone pays you $5 for each survey you do...they rarely take more than 10-15 minutes. And the check comes in pretty quick.

Thanks for the heads up. I've done one before, but they were pretty skimp on the things that I qualified for. Wouldn't mind getting another paycheck from them again.

I filled out the application too, but I was a little surprised at how little information they asked about you. They are basically making a decision based on gender, a broad age range, and education level? Seems to broad to me.

When I signed up in the spring they also asked about income, marital status, household size, zip code, hobbies, particpation in sports, whether there are children in household, whether there are pets, age of all householders. Depending on answers, I imagine the initial survey may have expanded. There are quite a few other personal info questions that I think they asked, but I'm not sure if that was Pinecone or some other. I think that even the initial questionnaire asked quite a few questions about purchases,

How long does it typically take for them to reply?

I got my e-mail from them today with additional demographics questions. Now I guess I just wait for a survey invite. Thanks again, Jodi.

This is very co-incidental. I just recently learned about paid surveys and yesterday learned about Pinecone. I will follow up. Thanks Jodi.
