    According to devils_advocate and gackle, the stores' machine (system) can still make errors. That is real killer for me 'cuz I never check when I pay with CC.
    Kroger will give you the FULL price of the product if scanned incorrectly. But only on the first one. They did that recently when I bought a tbone steak, MMMM love free steak!

        Yeah I don't think it's a law, it's just what many stores do. They also don't know that I used a coupon too. So many times I get the full refunded price plus I used a coupon. So it's nice, but it's a pain too always having to check my receipts to see if they screwed up again.

          I am not good at adding up numbers and keeping them in my head, but if you brought a little solar handheld calculator with you to the grocery store, it would make the job easy. I admit i've never done this as i felt funny using it with other shopprs around. Dumb, i know.
