Just wandering if anyone has been and what attractions you would recommend? I am planning a vacation for the family next month (two adults and three teens)

I was there kayaking 2 summers ago. It's quite a touristy area; lots of miniature golf, regular golf, retirement communities and seafood restaurants.
The kayaking was great, on the Little PeeDee River. Aside from that, there was also a very nice botanical garden where you could walk around, it's on that main highway a number of miles south of Myrtle Beach, can't remember the name but it's pretty well-known in that area.
