    you know, like someone painting your house, if you feel they've done an especially good job?

    I might if they worked for someone else- but if they were self employeed I probably would not.

      No. But, I would make a point to tell them what a great job they did and how I plan to recommend them to others.

        I might if I liked the job, and the price, say if I thought it was a great deal and I got more than I paid for, but prolly not if I paid an arm and a leg..then I would just be glad I got what I paid for!

        either way praise is a wonderful payment IMO
