  • Where You Can Find Coupons (community article)

This is another community article post. Please refer to How To Save On Pizza on how this works.

One of the things I hear time and again is that there are never any good coupons in the newspaper inserts. So let's make a list of all the places you can find coupons beside the Sunday inserts.

Note: the space between the ********* is for the article...sometimes people also want to comment and that should be outside the ********* area

Manufacturers: Your can write directly to the manufacturers and ask for coupons or get on their mailing list which will usually send out coupons from time to time.

eBay: You can buy coupons (technically the time and effort to gather the coupons) on auction sites like eBay

Phone book: one of our local phone books has coupons for different things including restaurants.

Try to keep pharmacies in mind too. Very often they have ads that include coupons, or free samples by the drop off doors. At some specific stores like Walgreens they may be included in the rebate book, so even if you don't like rebates the book may be worth skimming.

Most of my coupons come in mailed packets along with all the other junk mail (ValuePak comes to mind). Usually they are coupons for local restaurants, sometimes even the local movie theater. Also Costcos sends it coupons in the mail to their members several times a year. And my grocery store (Jewel) prints out a tape of coupons that they give you along with your receipt, often for items related to things you just purchased, those are sometimes pretty good. Aside from those, I almost never use coupons, since I can't find any "good ones" in the paper.

Oh, and the Entertainment Book, can't foget that! I got one free as a gift this year and I don't know where it's been all my life!

pharmacies always have sales/coupons in most cases. I get plenty of coupons and deal information from them through mail.

Wal-Mart's in-store publication, "All You," frequently has good coupons in it. Some can only be used at Wal-Mart because that's the only retailer that sells the item. However, most can be used anywhere.
