  • Do you recycle gifts?

I was going through my closet and found some gifts I've received over the years that are still in the original boxes. I'm thinking about using them as gifts for others this year. Do you recycle gifts?

Yes I have. I have several holiday swapping parties that I will be attending this year. I got a wine rack from another party last year that I never would use so it is going to another one this year.

I also go some nice bath and body works stuff from my old boss one year. It was a scent that my sister loved and I didn't. So I included it with her christmas gift.

I've never done this before, but it sounds like a great idea. I have some that would make good gifts for others that I have never used. I got a really nice towel set, but I have so many that I've never used them. I also have an expensive bottle of perfume, but I don't like the smell. It's not bad, it's just not me.

I don't think there is anything wrong with this as long as you think the person receiving the recycled gift would like it. If you are trying to get rid of it with no thought in mind, then it would be a bit rude. But if you think the person would like it, why not?

Absolutely. I tend to get a lot of bath "stuff" which I never use because our bathtub is really uncomfortable so I only shower. I save that stuff and give it away. Pretty much anything I don't have a use for goes into the gift closet and gets recycled. I used to feel guilty about it, but not anymore. They're nice things, I just don't need them.
