Re: Kramer's Tirade
he appears to have what i call "inner rage." probably the child in him came out, when i get mad i tell the truth... it was surely a bad mistake on his part.. he will be tagged from it... an apology was absolutely necessary...i wonder what is in his background for him to act like this... thanks for the post..

Re: Kramer's Tirade
This may stir the pot but...
Why does no one care that the audience member called Richards a "m*f* cracker?"
Don't get me wrong. Richards lost it. Even without the 'n' word he really blew it. His hateful comments, as much as the use of the 'n' word itself, is what reveals something worth condemning.
However, the 'rule' should apply both ways.
I personally despise racism, or rather any prejudice and bias, in any form.
However, if the 'n' word is so absolutely terrible, demeaning, and disgusting (which I understand and accept that it is) why don't we see or hear from leaders or other prominent persons whenever a black rap artist, comedian, or athlete says the 'n' word in some form? Seems to me the goal should be to stamp out the use of the word, period. Not just the use of the word by white people.
The only person I can remember addressing this is Bill Cosby. And for it, he caught a lot of flak.
Just a couple of thoughts. Take 'em or leave 'em.

Not to mention the fact that the reason he was so ticked off was because they had been acting up the whole time.
Everyone says stuff they regret later at some point. Im not religious, but I love the quote: Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone...

I knew there would be at least one. Apparently there are two.
They came in late and they were somewhat loud ordering their drinks. I hardly think that justifies MR's tirade but apparently you do?
I saw the tape, prior to him going off the only thing that was said was my friend doesn't think you're funny. I've seen lots of comedians heckled before, but never a reaction from a comedian such as MR's.
The cracka comment was well AFTER the "funnies" about lynching and the repetition of the "N" word. Not nice, but clearly it was hurled in self-defense and it still doesn't have the same venom as the ways MR was using the N word.
And you and pound should know, the use of the N word IS controversial in the Black community, and it is not used in polite conversation by normal folks. And besides as it relates to MR's tirade, it is quite irrevelant.
Consider the pot stirred.
