Re: Does your company give a Christmas Bonus? If so what?

We get Cutco knives every Christmas from DH's company. Don't get excited...he works for them so we are always giving them away because we have way more than we need.

My company does not give a bonus.

My company just stopped doing their bonuses for budget considerations. They used to give out $250 gift cards, which was a nice bump to holiday shopping. Still, it is a bonus afterall so I don't get too upset about it.

I'm not sure I agree. I work for the government, like a lot of other folks.

I'm not against bonuses (though I think it's not a good idea for the government to give holiday bonuses) but I'd rather some places paid an honest wage year long.

I'm self-employed so no bonus. I usually get around $50-100 in holiday tips plus another $25-50 in gift cards and a box or two of chocolates from my customers. It's all greatly appreciated, and the best part is knowing that they thought of me.
My husband is also self-employed and he gets no bonuses or tips.

I just got a cheap, plastic pedometer. Sometimes I wish they wouldn't bother if they are going to give out crap. And NO, I don't believe it's the thought that counts at least not in this instance.
