How much do you set aside for your pocket money fund? Those little things that you purchase from time to time. I guess I should also ask what items you consider the pocket money should be used for? Is $15 a week too much?

I very rarely carry cash. But usually have $10 in my pocket. -

I must admit that I always carry a $20 around with me for little things. I don't often spend the money, but there are certain times I can't resist. I'd say I spend $50 a month on all those little things. A pop here, a pack of gum there.Comment

It looks like that the $15 a week I spend is completely out of line, but when I think about it, that adds up to over $750 a year which is quite a bit. I'd like to find a way to reduce this a bit if possible.Comment

Probably the easiest way to cut down is not carry any cash with you as long as you don't put those little items on your credit card. If you don't have the cash in your pockets, you can't spend it on those little things.Comment
