Re: Recycling Glass Jars??????
I don't keep them too often as I have two lil ones who don't know the difference between something breakable & not.
Though you can use glass baby jars as votive candle holders w/ a lil sprucing up & paint
or add a wire hanger & hang them in the trees @ night w/ a tea lite candle (saw that one on P.Allen Smith's gardening show)

Re: Recycling Glass Jars??????
I don't actually recycle them for my own use, but we do put them in the bin that is set out at the curb every week. Every once and a while I will snag one for collecting sand and/or other interesting nature items on vacation.

Re: Recycling Glass Jars??????
There is very little we buy that comes in glass jars. Offhand, the only things that come to mind are salsa, soy sauce and taco sauce. Pretty much everything else comes in a plastic bottle or metal can.
We don't save our glass bottles but do put them in the recycling bin, along with the plastic bottles and metal cans.Steve
