That's because we trust God to understand.

We don't stock up on anything.

I got one, forgot what it's name, medicine frome walgreens free after rebate. And that's it. We don't usually get sick. My dd was never sick in her life. My son got cold with fewer once, but I just gave him some tylenol and it went away in a few days. If I get runny nose or caugh, I don't use anything, in either case it will last a week.

I think, my kids don't get sick like some of my friend's kids is because they drink lots of juice and eat lots of vegetables. I also brestfed both of them for a year each, so I just hope, nobody will get sick.

Airborne and Zicam!!! Since I teach, I'm exposed to EVERYTHING. Seems anymore parents think it's OK to send their sickly kids to school so they can still go to work! Some will even not answer their cell phones when the school calls because they think that leaving their sickly child in the nurse's office all day is just fine.

Anyway, I started to get sickly at school on Thursday this week. Went out at lunchtime and bought some Airborne to take. Had one of the Zicam swabs in my purse. Did both the Zicam and Airborne untill the next day and am OK, thank goodness. We had a fieldtrip planned for Friday to the local airshow. My students would NOT have been happy if I would have been too sickly to go!

Earlier we were talking about jack daniels. Know what's funny? On one side of my mothers little town is another town where they make jack daniels. On the other side of her little town they make george dickel. Something about the water. We had the same water from a well. It was awesome. (the water) BTW I think Jack Daniels is still made in a dry county. I do know that town it is made in only has about 350 people in it. My grandmother was there in a nursing home. Sweet little place.

Lots of soups when on sale. Heavy on the chicken noodle and chicken with rice. We all get the flu shot here. I hate feeling like I was beat with a bat!

TP & the good tissues with lotion in it <--- no need for a crusty dry nose

I make plenty of chicken soup & I freeze some extra portions so when the time come theres always some ready to be reheated.
