Start writing valuable content on a daily, or at least every other day basis. Be cognizant of keyword phrases you can rank for eventually and target those in your articles.

Swap links with some related sites and you'll get indexed. Submitting doesn't do much of anything.

Start doing adwords if you can afford it.

Add value to your site. Make people want to come back (like at this site).

Be very patient!
