Discounts? Like I ask the doctor's office before I leave if I can have a discount or do I talk to billing? Sometimes it's a doctors office or a hospital, does that matter?

What can I get discounts on? Shots? Treatment/Surgery?

It never hurts to speak to the billing person or the physician directly if you are having difficulty affording bills. The worst that will happen is they'll say no. As for the hospital, just ask at the billing office. It has been my experience that they will often give a discount just for asking and paying the balance due in full (not financing it).
