I have never had any luck with Skype as far as call quality, but Vonage has worked really well. Right now I have a Vonage line that goes strictly to voicemail which I can pick up over email. It's great!

As I stated in an earlier post, I have enjoyed using Skype, but I just received a notice that an upgrade is available. However, this will require tinkering with my firewall. And even though Skype provides step by step instructions for completing this procedure, I'm not looking forward to this task because of Murphy's law.

We had bundled our services with the cable company, and that was not a good experience for us. I swtiched to Vonage and love it. Not only is it reliable and cheap, but I love the services that come with the mid-tier plan -I think it's $24.99. For example, our voice mail messages are sent to my e-mail account. I check in once a day and can call anyone back that I need to right away. On the one occassion we had technical trouble (right after we set up), the Vonage technical support was helpful, quick and courteous -even after 8 p.m.!

Best Experience With Hosted Voip
If you are using Voip, you don't have to worry about monitoring network or maintaining the network yourself. This could really saves your time as well as money required on setup. It also requires less bandwidth, so this is the big advantage. So, basically hosted Voip is the best solution for any business owner who even don't have much knowledge on it.
