When I use the word frugal, I mean "without waste" so I don't consider vacations to not be frugal. A vacation where you pay full retail would be non-frugal, but I doubt many people on this website buy anything without seriously assessing cheaper options.
My non-frugal sin: My Ivy League education...same books at 2x the price.
Ice free?? I just paid $260 to get my icemaker fixed. BUT, as DH pointed out, its a $3200 refrig that we bought brand new at the sears scratch & dent (its built in, so you cant even see the scratch) for only $930. Of course, it went out 2 months after the warrenty ended. But, with my MS its hard to crack open the ice cube trays, and we use a lot of ice esp when we make ice cream and such.
A funny dog store. We showed in obediance so we bought a van to sleep in to save motel rooms. Make coffee before hitting early the early ring times. The dog hit the ring three time under three judges here in Knoxville and she had her degree. I guess we bought a van for nothing but at least was usuable.
You wife may actually be saving you thousands of dollars, not to mention you can also count her as a dependent for taxes.
