Cute pup. Did you consider the 18 years of dog food you'll have to buy?

Meh it's less than 5 figures i spent on our last dog on medical bills and 5 figures i spent each on the 2 before him. My 3 previous dogs = a lot of money = a ton of happiness.

Now i have no idea how large he's going to be...i hope he's not too big a boy.

Congrats, definitely a cute pup! My BIL's family has a goldendoodle -- they're great dogs.

Although I love animals, I could never be a pet owner (for a variety of reasons). But FWIW, I think that most pet owners don't much worry about the costs involved... Caring for a pet is typically centered around emotion, not finances. In fairness, alot of human decision-making is that way, so pets are just one avenue for illogical yet highly enjoyable expenditures.

Haha Kork, pets are not illogical! There’s lots of logical reasons to have pets. For example, several studies have shown pet ownership correlates with increased levels of happiness. I say this happily with my little pup curled up right next to me. (Also - cheaper than a kid!)

          Congrats LAL! He is adorable!!

He is a cutie! And dogs are always nice to you and happy to see you unlike children sometimes...my kids say to me "mom he's your favorite kid!" with previous dogs. Answer is TRUE! Never answers back, never gives me a problem.

                Congrats!
I've had a dog in the family since the early 90's.
                They are definitely great companions
