Shopping for a computer/laptop online is FRUSTRATING!

It seems like no matter what website I go on, there is no way to get rid of the damn refurbished items from my search. "NEW" on most of the sites means new to their website, not new condition. It is nerve racking. I suspect there are people out there willing to buy refurbished, but I am not one of them. Especially for a Christmas present!

Looking for a 15.6" 4GB, 500MB, Laptop, ideally under $200. Found a few in the Black Friday ads but of course they are all out of stock. I know many on here might not those specs to be sufficient, but this laptop is going to be for homework and maybe some Internet surfing. My daughter is not into gaming.

Having hundreds of refurbished computers mixed in my results is making me want to scream!!!

Check best buy out Dell Inspiron. It's $249, but a little more than you wanted too.

Here's an HP 15.6 for $169. It's an AMD, but for an entry level laptop it won't really matter.

As for the HP, I actually found that one online last night and was hoping to purchase it. Unfortunately it was Instore Only and there wasn't one within 250 miles from my location.

Dell will have one on Cyber Monday for $199 but it is only of their hourly deals. Chances are supplies won't last long, so if I am unable to log on when it becomes available I will likely miss out on it.

Thank you. I set an alarm on my phone to remember to log on to Dell prior to the hourly deal. But since I will be at work, there is no guarantee I will actually be able to be on at that time.

I have done several searches today and I am not finding anything else under $200 with the 15" screen. So I will have my fingers crossed I am able to get one.

I got a Dell with the specs I mentioned in the OP. Probably the same exact laptop that is going to be a Cyber Monday deal this morning, but thanks to cooliemae I was able to get it without waiting.

Just took a peak at the Dell website and the Cyber Monday 11am deal I had my eye on is sold out at 12:15pm. I wonder how long it took to sell out.
