Ugh doesn't take me where I left off!

Am I imagining things but didn't this board used to take you to where you left off reading on a thread? Even if you never commented or am I thinking of another site?

I find it annoying that when I click on a discussion it takes me to the very first post and I have to scroll thru to get back to where I left off. Is it just me?

Maybe I'm not understanding the problem, but I always jump straight to where I've left off... I use the "New Posts" link in the top middle menu bar to see what's new, then click the little blue down-arrow next to the individual thread title that I want to read. It always takes me to the first unread post, or in the case of threads I haven't looked at before, either the first post or the first post written since my last session on the website.

Keep in mind this does require you to be logged in, and I think you also have to accept cookies from this site.

It sounds to me like you're clicking the thread title link itself, which does lead you to the OP.

I think we are talking about different things. I use the New Post title too. But then if I click on the thread title I want to read it takes me to the first page, first response. Say there are 4 pages and I read to page 3 yesterday. Today when I go back in, it should take me to page 4, not back to page 1 first post.

i'm always logged in. The only time I go to where I left off is if I've responded on a thread and get an email notification, then it will take me to the new message. I'm strictly talking about threads I read but don't participate in.

Kork you're right now I see the down arrow next to the thread title. Weird never noticed that before and I swear it always took me to where I left off clicking on the thread title. Maybe I'm thinking of another board, thank you!!
