  • The 2020 Presidential Election

I've got bad news for all of the "Not My President" protesters: He will be starting January 20th. Just like it was when Obama was elected and half the country was upset about the outcome.

Again, just like with Obama, I doubt Trump is going to win over many of those who currently oppose or denounce him. So with that in mind, who do you want to see on the 2020 ticket?

I have already seen Bernie 2020 signs in my neighborhood. #Michelle2020 is the buzz on the Internet. Who will top your list, assuming Hillary will not try yet again?

Michelle is too smart to run. Bernie too old unfortunately. And Hillary sounds like she's exiting politics and she won't be given a chance to run. Was Al Gore? John McCain? One go around to grab the ring.

Give Trump a chance. That'll probably influence who runs.

If Trump succeeds this first term it won't matter who runs against him the 2nd term perhaps?

Seems every time there's a major political shift in the White House at least one third of Americans think "the Anti-Christ" was elected, one third of Americans think "the Savior" was elected, and one third of Americans fall somewhere in-between. If your candidate won or lost consider this election with a grain of salt. Let's focus on respecting each other, being kind to one another, and moving forward together.

Republican, I think Paul Ryan could do very well. Democrat, Tim Kaine (in spite of this year's loss) could probably be successful.

        .... Oh yeah.... And Kanye.

As Trump will likely be in the Oval office for 4 years will the Republican party select Paul Ryan instead of Donald Trump as their candidate?

I guess it could be a first but likely the incumbent President is considered the leader of his or her party?

Who do you think would be Kanye's running mate? Perhaps that singer Paul that he discovered?

Jesse Ventura. He's the only person I can think of that if they run I would actually vote for.

Yes, presumably the incumbent would run for a 2nd term. I mention Ryan as a potential option in the future, or if perhaps Trump were to decide not to pursue re-election.

No idea... For some reason, though, I've just heard of calls on social media for "Kanye 2020!" for whatever idiotic reason, what I'm presuming (desperately hoping) is a joke, as intended here. Apologies if my sarcasm didn't shine through via text.

I was being sarcastic as well. The Paul I was referring to that he "discovered" is Paul McCartney. If you aren't aware of the joke, Paul collaborated on a song with Kanye and Rihanna. Kanye's moronic fans thought Kanye discovered Paul and that Paul would be huge because of it.

The rock! Dwayne Johnson. When the other side is trying to argue he can answer "What?! Do you smeeeeelllllll what the rock is cookin?" That'd be EPIC to say to the North Korean leaders.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.

Trump should have picked Arnold as VP at least I'd have been amused.

I think you just told us your age bracket .... 18-25y/o I'm guessing?

Most anyone who grew up watching movies in the 80s or 90s knows that there is only one "Ahnold" worth discussion, especially in the context of political comedy. Lol
                            THE GOVERNATOR!!!!!

                              No. Much older.

I asked because that Arnold isn't eligible to be VP.
