    Just inherited $3 million

    I make $7.50 an hour and would like advice on how to SPEND this money. The only thing is, the will stipulates that I can only spend it on pre-sweetened cereal and eating out.

    I was thinking about a trip to Sam's Club to get a case of Cap'n Crunch "Oh no just berries!!!"

    What a crappy way to leave you money. Looks like you need to do a little cereal laundering. Buy $3 mil worth of cereal to comply with the stipulations of will, then sell to groceries or a grocery chain cheaper than what they can normally buy it for.

    You may not recoup the full $3 mil this way, but what the hell, it's free money and then you can use it however you choose. People have been working a similar scam with food stamps for generations.

    When you cash out, party time !

      T.H. there is a discussion forum for "Everything Else" and even one for "General Discussion." I think your joke post would fit better in one of those categories.

      My answer to your silly question: Go buy your cereal anywhere you like and then either donate it or sell it. Compost it if you like.

            Easy, buy cereal then sell it. Money is fungible.

                What if you bought large investment stakes in Kellogg or General Mills? Or perhaps bought a pre-sweetened cereal manufacturing plant? Would either of these options satisfy your benefactor's requirements?
