Anyone use HughesNet?

My parents live in the middle of nowhere. Satellite internet is their only option. They have been using Hughes for a few months. Customer service is really hit or miss. The price is okay - I think $60/month (same as Verizon).

Does anyone here use Hughes? Are there better satellite internet providers? Doesn't seem like it to me but thought I'd ask.

We use Hughesnet due to our rural location.
Can't say I'm thrilled with it, but we get by. It's sometimes slow and like satellite TV storms and weather screw it up.

That's how they feel. It's pretty blah but it seems to be the best option.
