US-based Home Insurers & English language
I get that there is no official language of the United States. I have functioned passably here for many years with the English I have. I also know current office productivity software suites have word processing applications enriched with grammar and spelling check features.
I somehow end up with national insurance companies that cannot pay people to proofread their documents, or cannot afford--no, wait, that's not even an excuse because open source productivity suites LibreOffice and OpenOffice exist--, or they have lazy and ineffective staff.
Can you recommend a quality, as in A.M. Best Financial Strength and Quality Ratings at A- or better, US-based home insurance provider who generates policyholders letters and documents in error-free English? I'm with Stillwater Insurance which formerly was Fidelity National, and before that American Family used to insure our house. AmFam blew it when one of their agents sent a letter with three typos. Stillwater sent a modified policy quote with numerous errors in the policyholders letter. I want to charge Stillwater $5 per error to bring down the premium to what it was before the policy modification.
