  • Beta testers: Help needed for new site

Anyone that happens across this post, I have a big favor to ask. Nate and I will be launching a new site at the beginning of October and we need some people to test it and give us back feedback:

    Coupon Quiz

This is basically what we're trying to accomplish.

We were looking for a way that people could learn about saving money while grocery shopping that was a little different than a typical site while also helping out others financially at the same time. Basically, what you do is answer quiz questions - if you get the answer correct, we donate $0.10 in coupons to military families overseas. The more questions you answer correctly, the more coupons that go overseas to help military families that have a hard time getting access to coupons for the food they buy. I'll leave it at that as the site should make everything clear and it it doesn't, then we need to know that

Any comments, problems, ideas that you have would be greatly appreciated/

    Hey, pretty neat website.

Just one tiny comment if I may. Because the choices are black text with no underline, I intuitively assumed that it was just normal text that can not be clicked on. Consequently, I hunted the page looking for a way to input my answer.

While I'm here, perhaps the answer box, being placed above the question itself and having a different background color, appears to be a more dominant object. Perhaps, the question box and the answer should be swapped?

Otherwise, I think it's very nice!

I got asked the pinapple color question twice in less than 10 Qs, though it could be because I got it wrong the first time.

I also think I say 'triple couples' on where to find triple coupons question

and I was asked 4 or 5 questions about pineapples in all..I don't buy pineapple!
and several were asked twice, though again it could be because I got em wrong the first time (yeah I think all of em, did I mention I don't buy pineapples?)

anyway it may just be me, but having a daily limit might make me more likely to come back..as is I did 10 or so and am no bored (no offense intended)...if it weren't you I prolly wouldn't be back.

The site was neat, but it failed while I was on it...

@ PrincessPerky - yes, that is due to a lack of questions loaded up at this time. Hopefully that will be resolved before launch. Good to hear your thoughts on the daily limit - we have been wavering back and forth as to whether that would be a good idea or not.

@ osadg - how did the site fail?

I was completing the questions, and then suddenly everything went blank and an error message showed up...I should have thought to copy it, but when I exited and went back in it kept going along fine. I'm not sure what happened, but the message on the screen said something about the site failed-it wasn't a windows message, just the website. ?? Sorry, I'm not very tech savvy.
