I never use the glasses or the bedspread.

I will use just about everything else.

That is so horrible , i will never use glass again. It is better to take our own glass while we go out. Thanks a lot for sharing this video.

I remember seeing a video online about this at least a year ago, I guess it doesn't really surprise me, but it does make you wonder what else in the room is not clean and other things they are not doing that they should be doing... Sad and very disturbing.

Timeshares offer full kitchens and it's always a good idea to wash the dishes before you use them. I just dump the silverware and anything that I would put to my mouth in the dishwasher before using it.

This year I'm going to take a canister of disinfecting wipes. It just makes sense. You wipe the surface and allow it to dry completely. I especially like this for the shower and jacuzzi tubs.

Yuck!!! So disgusting... Glad I always bring my own drink, and I always demand boiled water to sanitize glasses, eating and any serving implements in my room. I even use disinfecting wipes and/or alcohol... It's better to be safe than sorry...

In May we vacationed in Orlando (Disney World area) in a resort that slept 8 people. I had 2 small grandchildren and son and wife flying in and wanted to take extra precautions because of the recent flu pandemic. Plus we had 2 other adults. All total were 8 people. There was a rumor that there was a case in the Disney area and I didn't want to take any chances.

I took Disinfectant Spray, Disinfectant Wipes, Disinfectant Cleaner, glass cleaner wipes, a box of masks ( which my husband can use on his job)and Wet Ones Wipes. We mopped thetile floors before the children came plus we washed the dishes in the dishwasher. You don't really know if these items have been cleaned properly.

I thought about this thread while we were there and prepared for it by shopping early with coupons, bOGO free deals and just being vigilant.

Germs are everywhere and we are immune so don't worry, your favorite restaurants' kitchen is closed to the public for a reason!!

I don't even have to watch the video to know it is disgusting. I figure when staying in a hotel it is best to touch as little as possible. We had some house guest who had stayed in a hotel and they ended up giving us bedbugs. Worst 6 months of my life.
