Just went through 3 pages of new posts... is there a function to mark "all forums as read", so next time I come back I only see posts from after 10:25 EST?

yes: at the top bar use the 'quick links' arrow (quick links is next to 'search'), and choose the option to 'mark all forums read'. this is especially useful if you also use the 'new posts' option, so it will only show you posts that are new since you last read or marked forums read...
in your site control panel, there's also an option to restrict which new messages you see. you can have it show you all new msgs, or only those from the past week or several days. helpful if you don't want to mark forums read but also don't want to see them every day...
