    Hi!!

You did great!!! Isn't it a great feeling? I always say "I win" when I get good deals.

I had some success today myself. I went to Rite Aid and bought 2 Satin Care Shave Gels for .99 cents a piece (on sale for $1.99 and I had coupons for a dollar off). I also got 2 Cover Girl Mascaras which were buy one get one free. Had 2 coupons and paid $1.65 each (they were orginally $5.30 a piece) and I got a free bottle of Excendrin which was on sale for $2 and I had a $2 off coupon. Oh and I also got 2 L'Oreal hair stylers which were also buy one get one free which I also had coupons for and paid $1.49 each.

    Keep up the good work!

You, too! It gets to be a game doesn't it? Do you also do the One-Check Rebates from Rite-Aid?

I have not tried the rebates at Rite Aid yet. I tend to shop more at CVS but if Rite Aid has a better sale on an item I will go there. I've heard of people saving all kinds of money and getting a lot of items essentially free with their rebate program. I know I will try it one of these days. It sounds like fun!!

You are right, saving money at the grocery and drug store is like a game. I still have a long way to go but I'm slowly getting there. I'm still waiting for the day when I go to the store and buy $100 worth of products for like $17.
I don't know if that is realistic for someone like me but I'd sure like to see what that would be like. I'd probably pass out at the check out LOL.

I didn't fair so well yesterday on my shopping; only saved 20% (about $10 in coupons at the grocery store). I know that's still not bad but when I compared my coupon savings to the rest of the month of March, it was pretty bad.

On a cheerier note, I did end up saving a total of $160 in just coupons for the month of March at both the grocery store and drug store. For the year so far I have saved $380 in coupons alone (that doesn't include sales savings).

Well I finallly did!! I finally walked into the grocery store and walked out without paying a dime. It was only for 3 items but they had mustard on sale for $1.00. I had two .50 cent coupons which they doubled. I also bought a Kraft Salad dressing but I had a coupon for a free Kraft dressing. When the cashier rang it in and took my coupons he did a double take and said with a smile "That will be 0 dollars and 0 cents." LOL

Great! I walked out of the store with 5 boxes of free pasta today. I should have done them in a separate transaction just to get a 0 balance!
