      Yes, check out some yard sales. You can find all the crockpots, panini makers, bread makers, and on and on that you want! I recently bought a double burner type electic Hot Plate at a yard sale for $1.
      A crockpot is a great idea since there are things you could cook on "Hi" during the day.
      Kids are pretty simple. They like hot dogs, toasted cheese, mac and cheese, PBJ's or finger foods like cheese and crackers. You could melt ham and cheese on crackers and make "hors dourves" or however you spell it!

        Also, could you put some pepperoni in the bread when you bake it? Kids love that.

          Yum on the pepperoni in the bread and thanks for the idea about garage sales. When the weather gets decent, I will have to be on the look out. I appreciate all the great responses!
