what is your current price for a gal of milk?

our walmart is the highest on milk. 4.98, getting it for 3 dollars at local mom/pop shop and aldis, who also has the best price on eggs also at the momment, dozen large 1.69 all others are about 2.50.

Where I live it's $4.29 a gallon! That is the store brand. Mayfield milk is $5.19 a gallon! It's getting ridiculous!

How do I choose which avocados to buy? Are there tricks?

I like to buy two at a time, one that is ripe now and one that will ripen in a few days. But I seem to pick out too many that have bad spots inside, spots that were not obvious from the outside.

I'm in the Midwest, so these avocados have already traveled and maybe undergone a little tumbling and temperature changes. I do my best to protect them from any further bruising, even to the point of asking the cashiers to handle them gently.
