  • How much did you pay / lb for your turkey?

I bought a turkey from a local farmer. It wasn't cheap, but hopefully it will taste good (plus I feel good about the food system I'm supporting). This turkey was $2.60 / lb + $6 for processing for a whopping $54 total!

Luckily this is a 1x/ year occurrence!!

    How much was your bird?

I got one at Price Chopper for 78 cents a pound-but I had PC bucks ($7) to use against it, that expire tomorrow.
Last month I got one at aldi for 69 cents a lb.
Both are in the freezer, as mother in law is doing thee meat.

I paid ~$0.42/lb, basically you had your choice of weight between 10-16 for $4.99.

Our turkey was .78/lb and was 23lbs. Hubby's work gave them $25 gift cards to walmart so we bought our turkey with that. So it was a free.
