Those Tightwad Gazette enthusiasts will see shades of Amy D. here...
I got on a popsicle kick a short while back after thinking about how much sugar is in those popsicles my mom buys for the kids. So I went out to my local thrift store and found two popsicle molds for $1. I came home and whipped up my first creation: chocolate instant sugar free pudding with mushy bananas, milk, and some leftover caramel creamer that we weren't going to use. Puree in blender, pour in mold - yum.
Attempt 2: Leftover fruit salad dressing (canned fruit juice mixed with a little bit of instant vanilla pudding), pureed canned fruit (leftover from a meal), and a little bit of orange juice. Double yum.
Attempt 3 is in the freezer right now - using up the last bit of canned peaches (pureed), peach juice mixed with pudding and a smattering of Cool Whip that was a tad old, and a splash of orange juice.
Great way to use up leftover fruit, pudding, Cool Whip, near rotten bananas, juice, etc.
