Cryptocurrency Rally Happening

Hi All,

In case you haven't been paying attention, there is a rally happening in the crypto markets.

The price Bitcoin over the last month is below (click to enlarge).

The coin is flirting with a valuation of $100,000.

Its so funny to me what our species values. Bitcoin has basically no transaction value - most people are still using dollars. The rally is based on anticipation of a favorable regulatory environment under the incoming Trump Administration and the anticipation of future increases in valuation based on market movement.

I'm seeing the same pattern across all the coins I'm holding - Ethereum, Doge, etc. They're all up in value, regardless of the underlying economic role the coin serves.

The nice thing about tulip bulbs is at least you can plant them for a lovely flower later.

There are lots of other investable assets out there that has also shot up alongside crypto, but has much better moat and intrinsic value.

I totally sold my Dogecoin. The reality is the coin doesn't have any basic underlying economics which give it value - so its up purely based on speculation. I'll take my profits where I can.
