Do you find that people who are fully vaccinated and have still come back positive have a much less of a reaction to the covid or not? I know many people have different reactions to the disease some get deathly ill or die and others barely feel ill so does the vaccine just make it less symptomatic?
Yes, folks who get COVID after being vaccinated generally get milder cases. That's not 100% though. There have already been at least 50 COVID deaths here in NJ among fully vaccinated people. If you're at increased risk, it could still cause serious or fatal illness. We're also seeing the Delta variant impact kids more significantly, and they haven't been vaccinated of course. This fall is going to be a disaster once kids are back in school and especially once flu season begins.

Browsing through this thread, I didn't notice any reference to money or finances. This was strictly about delta variant and getting different vaccines. Why hasn't any of the admins or mods moved this to "everything else?"

      According to the forum rules:

      Non-Financial Topics
Open and free discussion is encouraged on the boards. Feel free to discuss topics and subjects not directly related to finances. It is asked, however, that any non-financial topics be placed in the “Everything Else” section of the forum.

Let's see how long it takes before someone does the right thing and moves this to the appropriate place, if ever.

That is scary as we now have the delta strain here...and we are only half way through our vaccines and if it not really that effective...I wonder what the point is..do they have to keep varying the vaccine as each new variant pops up we will get so many vaccines!!...I found here that the last 2 years with people wiping down shopping carts, hand sanitizing and wearing masks out flu numbers really dropped...we should do it all the time
