Great job on the debt repayment.

You've mentioned the job numerous times. Are you actively seeking another position? I wouldn't want to sit around bored all day either. That gets old really fast. I'm curious what is keeping you there.

nothing really keeping me there. the sad thing is they are super happy with my performance........ Seriously i almost fell asleep more then once what would be bad performance in their eyes. i honestly wish they would let me go.
i have looked at other places put in a few applications but would have to take time off to be able to do interviews etc.

Those around me seem perplexed because this place is grossly overpaying IMO and my personal support group says just grin and bear it for that much for nothing.....( my kids/ my DH / even a financial planner i spoke to). It does not suck the life out of them. this is unfortunately a real issue in this AREA so many lazy ppl who make a 5 minute job last a day and a half.

I am placed here by an agency that has gotten me a few good placements and i am not really wanting to burn that bridge.
i am going to email my rep and explain to him how this is not working for me. Speaking to these people has been as effective as talking to a wall.

I'd definitely be speaking to the agency and asking for a new position. And I'd be taking off whatever time I needed to to interview elsewhere.

At my job, I had some shifts early on when we had just opened a new site and might see no patients in a 4 hour shift. The first couple of times that happened, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I was being paid very well to catch up on my email, do some online training, watch Netflix, etc. But after 2 or 3 shifts like that, I was bored out of my mind. The difference in my case was that I knew that was only temporary and business picked up pretty quickly once word got out that we were there. Had it continued to be dead like that, I don't think I would have stayed.

i had a meeting with the manager at company told him how i felt .....he looked shocked and immediately scheduled meetings to discuss what else i could do .... did not come up with anything but he likes your outlook meeting page filled i guess. sat while he tried play with scheduling meetings i wanted to walk out.

He does not know what he is doing IMO....... they are trying to build new programs and seem to think sooner or later i will be busy does not help me NOW.
i am talking filling 7 hours a day doing nothing. it has been almost 6 weeks
i am crabby and drink about 5 cups of coffee a day to stay awake. i feel like crap and try to think of a way to call in every morning..... i am writing an email to agency as i cannot do this much longer.

I just sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the items on the list of things I want to do with my money....
updated totals on debt
(feb) house =35k june = 33,700
feb credit#1 2600 / now 2072
credit #2 2900 / now 1549
car 8682 / now 7692
it is nice to see some progress just seems to be slow going...
only been able to slowly add to IRA lately.
I am paying extra on everything at once but am debating trying snowball method again sometimes the slow progress becomes boring and seems to be taking too long.

I know this is an old post and no doubt some of these debts are gone, I like the snowball method for me a few years back we had a lot of smaller bills rather than large ones and the snowball method helped us get rid of them sooner...so if you still had these debts and you could roughly pay $800 (both CC amounts) then you would have 1 paid off in 2 months then next one a few months later then that extra from both of them would go on the car and be gone a lot sooner...not for everyone but it worked for us...hope you are doing great and some of these debts are gone

these are all gone but 18k on house. i know snowballs work faster in a way i just like seeing all of it going down at once.
If you look across a list and all items are falling or all items are growing in the case of building accounts. it may not be the smartest move math wise it is just a mental move for me to see progress across the board.
