A Happy New Year Everyone!!!
Just transferred $1.00 from checking to savings.... for both my husband and myself. It will be double savings, and we will compete (should say hold accountable) each other. To me, I feel transferring from Checking to Savings is the good idea, but we shall see....

I started this last week on first Saturday of 2014.. Started off at $52
what will be challenging for me is I already put a certain % of my weekly paychecks away already so this will leave me even less money for all my daily expenses..
ill admit it I spend most of my money on is food. That is what I need to cut back on is eating out too much. I try to eat close to 4k calories a day (getting in shape for military and personal wants) but I need to make more food at home

I started my 52 weeks savings challenge beginning of Jan. Not the reverse way though. I am doing it slowly… $1, $2, $3, $4… up till this week is $6. I am also using my calendar to keep track so I won't forget to save. Another thing I am doing is to save $1 a day too. Hope it adds up significantly.

Is anyone continuing this into 2015. I got some Christmas money and am planning to do it in reverse. Just made my first $52 payment into my EF, which already had some money in it, so now I have $2,449. I hope to get to $4,000 by Christmas 2015

I'd like to get in on this. I am determined to have 2 nicely cushioned emergency accounts.Last edited by FifthElement; 12-29-2014, 05:11 AM.
