I really think some of the clothes be reused that does not reduce it's value likely the fur coats. Your thread is like a strong support on my thinking. I really like it.

I watch for the end of season sales at the better quality clothing stores. Sometimes in February and July they mark their merchandise down to 70% off. Second hand and thrift stores are my first choice. Looking for better quality clothing is worth the effort because, even if it's cheap, if it doesn't last more than a couple washings it's still not a good deal.Last edited by jeffrey; 05-02-2013, 03:22 PM.

Look for the item to be on sale. Take care of it. Thats how he got decent cars and suits and a grill, and they lasted a long time.

So I might add:
6) Don't spend (too much) money for clothes you don't need
I admit, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to clothes (being a woman that may sound strange, but it's so). So you don't have to get along with only a pair of pants like me. But I know so many people having tons of clothes (in part never worn) cluttering their closet. Just buy what you feel you need, nothing more ...

There is a local place around here that sells Hollister/American Eagle/Aeropostale for like $7.99 a shirt. I prefer tank tops myself, but if you search around you can find really good deals, go to thrift stores, yard sales, craigslist, etc. Sometimes you can find bulk clothes on ebay for cheap also.
