I really think some of the clothes be reused that does not reduce it's value likely the fur coats. Your thread is like a strong support on my thinking. I really like it.

I watch for the end of season sales at the better quality clothing stores. Sometimes in February and July they mark their merchandise down to 70% off. Second hand and thrift stores are my first choice. Looking for better quality clothing is worth the effort because, even if it's cheap, if it doesn't last more than a couple washings it's still not a good deal.

        Financial Planning

It is a good idea to save money by reusing the clothes. If not necessary we should avoid buying new clothes. When this applied, saves good amount of money and this money can be used in other financial activities from where we can expect for a better return.

Clothing is one of our basic needs. But I think as long as we still have presentable clothes to wear, it's not necessary to go shopping yet.

I always love shopping. When I don't have money to buy, I do window shopping just to satisfy my addiction.

Look for the item to be on sale. Take care of it. Thats how he got decent cars and suits and a grill, and they lasted a long time.
Great perspective, mate. I salute your father. Most brand name makes it expensive as you where buying the brand not the item. It is indeed a great to save money. Sale gives you big savings rather than buying it on a regular price.

Yes of course. But I think it is best not to have clothes that are sitting inside the closet to collect dust.

                6) Don't spend (too much) money for clothes you don't need

I admit, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to clothes (being a woman that may sound strange, but it's so). So you don't have to get along with only a pair of pants like me. But I know so many people having tons of clothes (in part never worn) cluttering their closet. Just buy what you feel you need, nothing more ...

My daughter cuts up her old clothes and sews them into stuffed animals, doll clothes, and doll blankets.

There is a local place around here that sells Hollister/American Eagle/Aeropostale for like $7.99 a shirt. I prefer tank tops myself, but if you search around you can find really good deals, go to thrift stores, yard sales, craigslist, etc. Sometimes you can find bulk clothes on ebay for cheap also.
